Texas made a new law. The law was for every public school in the state. It said that every classroom must have a poster of the Ten Commandments.
Many families did not like this new rule. They said it was not fair to students with different beliefs. They went to court to stop the law.
A judge listened to the families. The judge agreed with them. He decided to stop the law before it could start. Now, schools do not have to put up the posters.
